The art and science of leadership is founded on our ability to ethically garner trust in daily interactions with those who would choose to follow us.
As leaders we must not only clarify our values we must give voice to them.
Our vision is to provide people in every community in every nation the tools to ethically change their world for good.
These free tools are one step in making this vision come to life. The second step is helping leaders build skills and learn to use these tools confidently to navigate situations when values and decision intersect.
The art and science of leadership is founded on our ability to ethically garner trust in daily interactions with those who would choose to follow us. As leaders we must not only clarify our values we must give voice to them. According to Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner "leaders are supposed to stand up for their beliefs, so they had better have some beliefs to stand up for."
According to Michael Josephson, ethics is the willingness to do the right thing even though it may cost you more than you want to pay. Ethics is simply values in action. The Six Step Process tool is intended to guide members of your organization through such tough decisions, based on your corporate values.
The lessons you have taught me through the application of values have had a very profound impact on me and have served to reinforce the ideas and ideals that I believe in and live by.

I just thought I would send you a quick note to let you know, I can not get the values training out of my mind. Personally I will always remember to take the time and THINK about the decisions that I will make in my personal and business dealings. My other thought was I wonder how our world would be if values training were taught in school, at a young age. Maybe if we taught our children values and ethics by means of a mandatory course study, similar to Math, English etc. the world would be a better place.

The application of values has had a tremendous positive impact on my ability to handle life's "issues" better. This exercise has helped me make several tough decisions that before this I had no chance of handling. I know I am still a young pup, but I feel having these lessons taught to me early has been a blessing. This probably saved my marriage and my sanity.
